The first space colony

Almost all space science fiction talks about the existence of autonomous settlements on other planets, asteroids, and bases drifting in space. But how realistic is this and will humanity be able to take steps towards colonizing at least near space in the foreseeable future? It was this topic that inspired me for this project.

The current level of development of space technology already allows us to talk about the creation of a scientific laboratory beyond the Earth’s orbit and space tourism.

The idea was to create a city - a mechanism, like a clockwork. Each block is autonomous, but at the same time connected with the others for interaction. The residential block, laboratories, cargo and transport compartments, management and provision of resources are thought out here. Enjoy watching!
